The first of an occasional series on services available within our Parish boundary features a popular and successful pre-school based at Tipps Cross since 2004.
Despite its name, Stondon Massey Pre-School and Busy Bees are actually located in the bright and modern facility of Tipps Cross Remembrance Hall with its convenient access from the Blackmore Road at Hook End and its ample trouble-free on site parking. In addition to the well-maintained hall itself, children have their own secure outdoor play area, with the Hall’s adjoining large recreation field also available when the weather is right.
Operating Monday to Friday during term time, the Pre-school’s mission is to ‘combine learning with fun’. The family-run business has an experienced team dedicated to ensuring each child receives appropriate care and attention under the daily supervision of owner and manager Sarah Wallace
Hundreds of toddlers from Blackmore, Hook End, Wyatts Green, Doddinghurst and, of course, Stondon Massey have ‘graduated’ from the pre-school over the past 18 years but parents from further afield are also attracted to Tipps Cross because of the hassle-free traffic and easy parking afforded by its location as well as the stimulating and happy experience on offer for their children. The Pre-school is fully accredited and registered to allow parents to benefit from Government funding entitlements.
